What is the next post after a dear friend has passed away?

I am so unmotivated to write, I fear if I don’t write something…now.. I won’t write… later.
Not sure if it is all because of my friend Bart… or the lack of sun this week....
or if I am on the brink of my mid life crisis?!


Did I mention I am having a birthday in a month?
- Have no fear, I will be reminding y’all on a weekly basis.
For my birthday I want photoshop & ski clothes. ... hint a hint hint hint...
(also to the thong song..)

I have been taking pictures to post to my 365 project..but nothing more exciting then the kids eating tacos.. & perhaps my toe… like I said , I am totally unmotivated to do pretty much anything this past week. But I wanted to stay in the game.

Eva is going through a Rock -n-Roll stage this week…
Wants to wear her Rolling Stones shirt EVERYDAY… time to find some more concert T’s…

Bon Jovi was on the radio today… she asked me if he was still alive?!
I asked who? - Jon Bon Jovi? Yes honey…. He is still alive…

She informed me she would like to see him in concert. - have I mentioned she is F I V E?

Thank you for all of the wonderful comments on the loss of my friend. His funeral is tomorrow & I am still bummed I was unable to get there.. : (

We were in England & I still remember waking up around 4am (I'm a night owl too. Don't get me up early!) to the sun shinning & the birds singing. I felt such contentment & peace. Then the phone rang & my mom & dad were telling me that one of my best friends had been killed in a car accident. He was hit as he was backing out of a friend's driveway. It's been almost 20 yrs & I still miss Jason w/ all of my heart.

I'd give you a big hug if I could so consider it done.

Hey you, Hungry butt!!!! .... First thought that played through my mind as I stood behind the woman in the GREY SWEATPANTS in line at the post office..... I ♥ Faces -Silhouette... this week is a little different.. we are able to choose one photo to enter... (darn...I had two...) but I think this is my fav.... Eva out at a beach near our home... I love the yellowish clouds & her hair blowing in the wind... She was jumping up & down on the rocks (safety first i n our house...LOL) One of the things I LOVE about Norway are the LONG summer days... this shot was taken about 7 pm... A visit to the ICE AGE....

Sunday... FUN-DAY, Another family day..... Because we had such nice weather, (never knowing how long it will last) we decided to take another family hike.... (2.5 hours....) around the be ach. It is funny, each week, each hike, I see changes in our family....less whining (on my part) & more time learning, enjoying our time together....Bjørn who usually gets irritated with all of my picture taking, is stopping to find things to take pictures of...appreciating colors, nature etc. Dane is less squeamish...touching & picking up all of sorts of things he finds along the hike.... Today we learned about Jettegryter or "Stone Pots" these huge rock formations from the ICE AGE .... pretty cool... these holes are formed by pebbles/gravel being aggitated by water, over thousand of years.... WOW..The holes on our local beach date back to 15,000 years.... the kids had a blast.... & wanted to stay much long
