I have been meaning to join in on Friday Fragments for AGES now... I used to play along..  when I was actually blogging :-)   Friday Fragments is hosted by Mrs. 444 over at Half past kissing time ... My life is so hectic at the moment... it seems like the only thing I have to share is fragments with y'all--- Hmmm. lets see... where shall I start? Feeling a bit SAUCY today... Amazing what a little red nail polish... new red trench coat and gorgeous sapphire & opal ring can do for a girls mood...  :-) I LOVE this ring... my Uncle Mike sent it to my mother from Vietnam  - while he was flying choppers during the war... My mom gave it to me this summer... & it means the world to me... After a totally SHIT day yesterday, I lingered in bed a little longer than usual this morning... My precious 7 year old... managed to get out of bed on her own...  - & make her own lunch... YEA.... love that kid... Fast forward to 1 o'clock....  I am working from home so hadn't checked my purse until just now... & this is what I found,... Things like this... make me so proud to be Dane & Eva's mom... They are such wonderful.. thoughtful little people... it brings tears to my eyes... For real. I am soo totally blessed to call them my own. SIGH:.. MOMMYHOOD... the best job in the world.

Pisces  Your Daily Horoscope The career ladder seems to be a lonely place at times today, but that is only because you have lost sight of your true priorities. I always have the best intentions of writing.. and sharing photos of my life here in Norway... And then something gets in the way...  and then... my little diddy.. gets lost in the chaos of my life. LAST week... Princess had her first dance competition.      Lets be honest.. PRINCESS is DANCING for me. because I wanted her to try it  She started dancing Freestyle- but would much rather be learning hip hop...  (she has to wait til next year for hip hop)   & if I was REALLY honest.. she will probably be playing Handball &soccer next year instead of dancing.. but she thought the competition was fun... - Spring is TRYING to come to Østfold...  Some days it is AWESOME.. and as soon as you think you can break out the sandals.. (no matter how CRAZY you look to the Norwegians...) - the near freezing rain starts again... UGGH.. I use every chance I get- to be outside.. and to start taking pictures again...   preferably with my favorite guy... Still loving my job, but trying to

I was DREADING 41... why? I dunno.... but my plans for the BIG day were to stay in bed... AS LONG AS POSSIBLE....   Which I did....  Until the smell of coffee was just too much for me to bare.. & I had to crawl out of my hole...   I stumbled down the stairs to find my children had laid out a birthday feast to surprise their old mom.... BEST  & CUTEST waitress E V E R... The table was set... flowers... cake... and a gift on my plate.... A couple of weeks earlier while out shopping.. Dane had asked me what I wanted for my birthday... I replied (just as my mother before me) "just want you and Eva to be good kids" thats all... Dane:  "No mom, really... what do you really want for your birthday?" Love this child o' mine for so many reasons....   Love that he was willing to drop everything & run out to the beach with me tonight... just because I needed a little pick me up...  and needed to catch a beautiful sunset... Feeling VERY homesick today... My boy is the B E S T ....
