As I mentioned in my last post.. Paris was perfect & I left glowing (and tired) .. Here are a few more shots...

A long weekend in Paris...Just what the Dr. ordered...   I have been Paris before.. but never like this..     First time I was in Paris.. was as a 20 year old.. broke backpacker.. then six months pregnant with Eva.. next time.. with 5 & 10 year old children..   and Finally...   .. as a single 40 something.. with a little more money.. a little more time.. and no one to worry about other than myself..   HEAVEN..   I decided THIS time.. I would wander the city as much as I wanted.. take 5.000 pictures if I wanted.. cruise the Seine River if I wanted... Buy that bag from Louis Vuitton if I wanted.. drink wine for lunch and champagne for dinner..     And I did all of that... cause I wanted..   I can honestly say J'aime P aris ... more now, than ever...   Here are a few shots from the weekend..   Montmartre   is a hill in the north of Paris , France . Yea! Another excuse to post tons & tons of pictures from our summer holiday... Sorry to all of my regular readers... I know y'all have seen most of the pictures... I found this today ... the weekly Blog HOP... HOW FUN ! This week is my favorite kids photo ... I love this photo of Dane in Paris last week , for sooo many reasons ... 1.) I LOVE the BERET... I love that he wore the Beret the entire time we were in PARIS eventhough we didn 't see anyone else in the city wearing one .... ( we both love the movie European Vacation , & I joked about getting us all berets ...I didn 't know he was serious ... ) 2.) First... Awwwww... Thanks for all of the bloggy L O V E ... I wasn't in so much in a funk because of not having any more babies... not really sure why or what it was.... maybe it IS because I was outside doing summer stuff.... I dunno... but looks like I am back on the horse... So I thought I would share the "plan" - which isn't really a plan because we are going to "WING" it R I G H T? Eeek.... It will be interesting to see what we actually end up seeing/doing..... The thing I LOVE about living in Europe is that you are only a car ride from pretty much EVERYTHING... Granted my idea of a car ride may be different than most American's.... I grew up in TEXAS... so a "road trip" to Grandma & Grandpas was a mere 17 hours in the car... STRAIGHT ...through Texas.... Oklahoma... Ill... (I usually konked out by then... or mom & dad drugged us so we would all stop whining" HOW MUCH LONGER....." Point being... I grew up with 8 hours mi...

Oh yes, I have started making the holiday plans... which includes 3 days at EuroDisney -Paris... & a couple of extra days in the city.. (there is going to have to be a fine balance to keep the kids interested yet learn something at the sametime...)
