American in Norway

Okay Okay, I know I have been MIA for a week now...  I will be back SOON,  promise. But I need your help  NOW ... RANDOM...but just go with me... for those of you in your 40's & younger... do you use AVON products? If NO... what would it take, to get you try their products... ? Recommendation from a friend?   A twit..or a tweet?   A product review from a blogger   posts on Facebook? Or something just being invited to a party? Its Wednesday... Time to show you what I have been up to this week.. the  Black & White version. If you would like to play along ... head on over to Lisa's at the Long Road to China We have had AMAZING weather this week..  feels as if SPRING HAS SPRUNG here in Norway.  Little Miss Eva & I headed over to the Beach to take some shots... here is my conversion to B & W. I just wanted to THANK all of you for your kind comments and emails last week. I had soo many people who had never left a comment before,  take the time & support me. Your kind words... well.. there are no words.. There were some real tear jerking emails/comments.. & I thank you for that.  You made my day..- my week & made up for the other meanies out there. I know shouldn't let some jerks who don't even know me hurt my feelings.. but well.. Anyhoo... THANKS  again & I agree ...Screw 'em.

While all of my loved ones are in the middle of snowstorms in the U.S...(even in Texas) - it felt like we were on the brink of Spring today in Norway... & it was GLORIOUS! We were right in the middle of packing for Danes ski trip& getting dinner ready when I noticed the sun going down...  I yelled for the kids to hop in the car so we could get to the beach before the sun hit the water...  thank goodness we only live 5 min from the beach.. we made it just in time.

Its been a LONGGGG time.. but I am ready to get into the swing of things for 2011.. I am back with my sisters over at Communal Global & back to playing along with Black & White Wed.  over at The long Road to China. It has been a while since I have walked around with a camera in my pocket & an extra camera in the car "JUST IN CASE". I have missed shooting pictures.. I have missed looking for the beauty in everyday things. But I am going to try to get back on track.... Dane after a day on the slopes... we have been getting lots ok ski time this season.  Baby Boy..(how long will I be allowed to call him my baby boy?) leaves for a ski trip with the ENTIRE 6th grade next week.... They will spend 5 days skiing, skiing.. more skiing.. learning winter survival, Ice Fishing.. By the end of this... the kids will be officially Norwegian.. :-) I am so jealous.. I wish they would let mom's go along...

It has been an entire year since Lola had the wonderful idea of getting women around the world to share their lives in pictures... Happy BIRTHDAY Communal Global... or as we say here in Norway.. Gratulerer med dagen! SKÅL! I plan on having one of these little diddy's for all of y'all!( wink wink..)
