Couple of weeks ago I snapped a picture of the moon from my back deck..  it came out PRETTY DARN good ( if I do say so myself)

Soooo easy... & I started thinking of all of the night shots I would begin taking...   
My cousin tipped me off to the full moon a 'comin  ... Perfect

Grabbed my camera.. & wen out on our top deck.. ready to get something
AH-MAZING.

only to be disappointed.

BLOB after blurry BLOB I shot away..

Even went as far as IMing my friend on facebook who is a professional photographer to ask him what I was going wrong.  :-(

Turns out I don't have half of the cool equipment to take a really great shot..

after probably 750 shots... this is what I got..
not bad but  looks like I will going back to the drawing board.

It has been a while..  a crazy couple of years..  A couple of years for all of us to process the changes in our lives..  How to move on, how to start over..  The starting over.   Dating again in my 40's yikes..  with all of my history thrown out on the internet to see.    Family pictures, daily adventures..  I suddenly didn't want my life out there for the world to see. Was a time for privacy for sure....  I made my blog private..  & then left it..  Sad really, when once I really enjoyed posting memories for my children and our life "abroad" Not really so abroad anymore.. - As Norway has really become home & I have even gotten my Norwegian citizenship Whaaaaaat?  Yes, the procrastinator got off her tail and took care of herself..  Looking at the old header.. Beautiful, Fantastic VENICE..

Sigh... I am still having a hard time getting back in to "REAL LIFE"   Venice was perfect in every way...  Spending much needed time with one of my BEST FRIENDS from the US...   I think I am still glowing..   feeling blessed..     Please bare with the picture filled posts to come...  Looked all over for these "Rice Balls" deep fried & filled with cheese.  - doesn't matter that I was walking over 10 km a day.. with all of the food and drink.. I may have broke even.     I have no idea who this lady is... but the abslolute JOY on her face was priceless...       I am a big PEOPLE watcher... I love seeing the joy.. and guessing their story.. I also see the people who are not so happy.. (It is never too late to change your story..)   I love seeing the happy couples taking the trip of a lifetime.. but also see the couples who sit across from each other ...
