Friday Foto Fiesta.. P A R I S ...




It's Friday, It's Friday, Thank Goodness it's Friday!!! YIPPEE!I'm playing Candid Carrie's Friday Foto Fiesta Finish again this week .So after you're done here, go over there and check out who's playing this week!!!
I know many of you have seen this before.... but it is still one of my favorites....

young, single-ish & backpacking through Europe... with a break in PARIS....
(remember how simple life was back then Kelly?)
Guess who is going back to PARIS this summer? Can you guess?
Oh yes, I have started making the holiday plans... which includes 3 days at EuroDisney -Paris... & a couple of extra days in the city.. (there is going to have to be a fine balance to keep the kids interested yet learn something at the sametime...)
I would love to think this time around I will be a little less funky for all of our Paris pictures... but considering we are "camping" for 2 weeks with 2 kiddos through Europe...I will be lucky if I can keep it as funky as the picture above....
Hope y'all have a super weekend.. sun is shining here in Norway & it is time to GET OUTSIDE... yippee....

I just checked out the 'vår' video on Fredrikstad Blad - you are having better weather than us!!

Keep notes on that camping trip, I want details. We want to do the same with out kids in 2010.

I LOVE PARIS! We went there for my birthday while living in Europe. It was the best birthday present EVER! Sounds like you're going to have tons of fun. I can't wait to be back in Europe in June! YEAH! Wish we could meet up.

Oh to be so young and free again....I love that you guys are going to EuroDisney...that way the kids will know my version is so much cooler when they come visit Aunt Kelly :)

Hey you, Hungry butt!!!! .... First thought that played through my mind as I stood behind the woman in the GREY SWEATPANTS in line at the post office..... Hungry Butt is what my little sister & her friends say when referring to what in my day, was called a WEDGIE ..... I ♥ Faces -Silhouette... this week is a little different.. we are able to choose one photo to enter... (darn...I had two...) but I think this is my fav.... Eva out at a beach near our home... I love the yellowish clouds & her hair blowing in the wind... She was jumping up & down on the rocks (safety first i n our house...LOL) One of the things I LOVE about Norway are the LONG summer days... this shot was taken about 7 pm... A visit to the ICE AGE....

Sunday... FUN-DAY, Another family day..... Because we had such nice weather, (never knowing how long it will last) we decided to take another family hike.... (2.5 hours....) around the be ach. It is funny, each week, each hike, I see changes in our family....less whining (on my part) & more time learning, enjoying our time together....Bjørn who usually gets irritated with all of my picture taking, is stopping to find things to take pictures of...appreciating colors, nature etc. Dane is less squeamish...touching & picking up all of sorts of things he finds along the hike.... Today we learned about Jettegryter or "Stone Pots" these huge rock formations from the ICE AGE .... pretty cool... these holes are formed by pebbles/gravel being aggitated by water, over thousand of years.... WOW..The holes on our local beach date back to 15,000 years.... the kids had a blast.... & wanted to stay much long
