Friday Foto Fiesta.. THE BERLIN WALL.....

It's Friday, It's Friday, Thank Goodness it's Friday!!!
YIPPEE!I'm playing Candid Carrie's Friday Foto Fiesta Finish again this week .So after you're done here, go over there and check out who's playing this week!!!

I have been thinking about starting yet ANOTHER blog documenting my travels... but who am I kidding? Like I have time for that?

So instead, I am going to start posting my pictures here...(Lucky you...)


This is Moi at the Berlin Wall...taken in 1990... (about 7 months after the wall came down...)

I traveled to the Wall with a bunch of my "West" German friends.... It was such an awesome feeling..being right in the middle of EVERYTHING...





I am standing in East Germany... while my friend Jochen was shooting from West Germany.... (we thought we were being so artsy fartsy "SHOOTING THROUGH THE WALL..."





I am pretty sure that NEON tanks & jackets with my cuffed cut offs were pretty cool at the time... Never mind the Mr. Kool Air sunglasses & my mothers gold HOOPS... Oh my...

Great pics! You could work that outfit today and still look cute in it. I loved rolled up cut offs. Even better was the full jean rolled cuffs and no socks of the 80's. I still have some pics like that!

you know that outfit would be so in right now. i saw girls with a bunch of neon plastic bracelets on with spandex and their bangs all poofy. i had to do a double take.

I was there in 1990 too, backpacking through Europe. I love this photo; your outfit and hair are a CLASSIC representation of the times, LOL!

It must have been amazing to be there so soon after the fall.

Berlin has been one of my favorite trips. It was amazing to see all the history throughout the city. My favorite were the cold era pedestrian walk lights.

That outfit was sooooooooooo ME in the 80's! I had an 80's day link up back in October. Think I will do another one later this year. It was so much fun looking at all the photo's!! lol

I ♥ Faces -Silhouette... this week is a little different.. we are able to choose one photo to enter... (darn...I had two...) but I think this is my fav.... Eva out at a beach near our home... I love the yellowish clouds & her hair blowing in the wind... She was jumping up & down on the rocks (safety first i n our house...LOL) One of the things I LOVE about Norway are the LONG summer days... this shot was taken about 7 pm... A visit to the ICE AGE....

Sunday... FUN-DAY, Another family day..... Because we had such nice weather, (never knowing how long it will last) we decided to take another family hike.... (2.5 hours....) around the be ach. It is funny, each week, each hike, I see changes in our family....less whining (on my part) & more time learning, enjoying our time together....Bjørn who usually gets irritated with all of my picture taking, is stopping to find things to take pictures of...appreciating colors, nature etc. Dane is less squeamish...touching & picking up all of sorts of things he finds along the hike.... Today we learned about Jettegryter or "Stone Pots" these huge rock formations from the ICE AGE .... pretty cool... these holes are formed by pebbles/gravel being aggitated by water, over thousand of years.... WOW..The holes on our local beach date back to 15,000 years.... the kids had a blast.... & wanted to stay much long
