We have a theme....

Thanks to mormor & aunt Ali who bought Guitar Hero for Dane's birthday,
Dane has decided to go for a
GUITAR HERO theme...
all of the kids have to dress up like their favorite rock star...
(have I mentioned there is NO ONE around here who does a THEME.. you know they think I am NUTs...)
Oh well wish me LUCK...
20.... 10 years olds fighting over ONE guitar hero...
I better find something else to entertain them with...

I've never even seen guitar hero. You could try karioke to keep them busy. The best lead singers play guitar and sing. (Ok Bono only sings which is more reason to practice on karioke.) :p

you'll soon have to upgrade to the one for "bands" that way several get to play at the same time...it's also fun to watch...they really get into it!

Now that is interesting...I love the cultural differences in that they don't do theme parties. I never would have guessed...but as far as themes go...GUITAR HERO ROCKS!!! Good luck! I can't imagine all those boys ALLOWED to be rock stars!!! LOL.

My girls LOVE guitar hero. I have asked Katie to go and visit Dane's blog...I think I am going to have to light a fire under her :-)

Been there done that, video games are only entertaining for a short period of time...buy some cheap plastic water guns and send the kiddos outside to shoot each other silly with water..(weather permitting of course)I think anything that gets them outside the house is better then anything inside...GOOD LUCK :-))

That's an awesome theme! I agree w/ the band game. You really will need it although it still wouldn't have enough.

I don't have kids but I'd be all for getting them out of the house and playing with water guns. (so the grownups can hang out in peace while they are and outside running off energy.) I'd be such a terrible parent. I'm sure I'm a bad aunt.

Hey you, Hungry butt!!!! .... First thought that played through my mind as I stood behind the woman in the GREY SWEATPANTS in line at the post office..... I ♥ Faces -Silhouette... this week is a little different.. we are able to choose one photo to enter... (darn...I had two...) but I think this is my fav.... Eva out at a beach near our home... I love the yellowish clouds & her hair blowing in the wind... She was jumping up & down on the rocks (safety first i n our house...LOL) One of the things I LOVE about Norway are the LONG summer days... this shot was taken about 7 pm... A visit to the ICE AGE....

Sunday... FUN-DAY, Another family day..... Because we had such nice weather, (never knowing how long it will last) we decided to take another family hike.... (2.5 hours....) around the be ach. It is funny, each week, each hike, I see changes in our family....less whining (on my part) & more time learning, enjoying our time together....Bjørn who usually gets irritated with all of my picture taking, is stopping to find things to take pictures of...appreciating colors, nature etc. Dane is less squeamish...touching & picking up all of sorts of things he finds along the hike.... Today we learned about Jettegryter or "Stone Pots" these huge rock formations from the ICE AGE .... pretty cool... these holes are formed by pebbles/gravel being aggitated by water, over thousand of years.... WOW..The holes on our local beach date back to 15,000 years.... the kids had a blast.... & wanted to stay much long
